.Im well into my 2nd trimester at IIMK. This Trim seems much better as Ive seemed to adjust to the hectic schedule. Though every other day you seem to ask yourself wether u'll be able to complete the next days work. Also thankfully this sem, I've got no major ailment to contend with. But then Lifes been all about trusting in god and he's always been there for me.
Last week, we had the pleasure of seeing a rainbow. Every person who saw it kept staring as if they were afraid that if they turned away, the rainbow would fade away. People were standing at balconies, peering through windows. Then there were people clicking away with their cameras. Trying to capture some part of this beautiful sight
Later on I had the pleasure of visiting Kochi - the queen of the Deccans. There I first visited Vmart and hogged on food. The next dayI went with my cousin to Marine Drive where I visited India's first floating ATM - an SBI initiative. Later we visited Dolphin Island - Kochi's Floating Restaurant where I tasted some good food after ages. All that floating wouldve hurt a mere mortal's tummy. But we two individuals stuck to more eating and topped it off with Kerala Parotha (not to be mistaken with its harder north indian cousin) and egg roast (Yes my fellow PETA members, ive turned eggitarian. Dont blame me, u havent tasted my mess food).
The high point of the trip was viewing the sunset from the seafront. There are few more beautiful sights then the red sun setting in a dark sea against a crimson background. What added to the fun was a toddler who refused to move from there till the sun set. My Doc cousin (hes trying to be a paedeatrician) loves kids, so the day was made for him too. We've promised to repeat the trip, with a boat trip added for Diwali. But its too early to say wether I'll be able to make it.

The sun is setting ,
in the crimson sky,
Bidding the world,
a fiery goodbye.

It captures the minds,
of the young and the old,
Such is the magic,
of the orb of gold.

It could be an arch,
of seven colours,
or a radiant tree,
with blooming flowers.

Maybe a seagull landing,
on the placid ocean,
and a toddlers awe,
at seeing the setting sun.

The sights take our sorrow away,
making every trouble a distant memory,
Such is the wonderful magic,
of the creators artistry.

Seeing the beautiful images,
painted by the Divine one.
I consider myself ever so fortunate,
to be just one of his numerous creations.

Luv,
P.R.
